tell-tale sign #3 that you are in college

you sort your laundry not by lights or darks, nor even by durability, but by State of Emergency. for instance:
"well, the towel hasn't been washed for six weeks...but then again, the sheets haven't been washed for eight weeks...and then there's the shirt that got washed two weeks ago that has bloodstains..."
------> daily bonus (!!!) you take pictures such as the one below for your mother:

That's so neat that you know how to knit! I was in Amazing Savings today in Queens, and they actually have about half an aisle's worth of all different kinds/textures of yarn.

Nice knitting...when you come to Israel both you and Mom will need to come knit with my group....

But back to the post...ummm blood on the shirt????

Another note, could you please shorten the number of letters for the word verification? I think 8 is a bit overboard!

but the scariest part would have been eight week old bedsheets WITH bloodstains.

It's enough to give you nightmares.

oh goodness i am really irritated with blogger right now! this is the third time i've tried to post a comment here and it hasn't shown up...

let's hope that this time it works!

anyway...i can totally relate to the laundry situation! i avoid it like the plague and only wash what i "have to"--fortunately, i have enough clothes to last me a good 8 weeks, so the only things that HAVE to be washed are sheets and towels. hoooray!
