the ten-thirty bus to brookdale thursday nights: or: the Stoned/French Leibedik Boys' Bus.
i know it's ridiculous to blog about it two minutes after i just posted the other one, but it's too funny. they spent the whole ride-- the whole ride!-- in unison, shouting songs and clapping each other loudly on the back. 'oleh oleh oleh OLEH!'

I spent 10 days in Israel with a bunch of soccer hooligans who would break out the "Ole, ole, ole" at the drop of a hat.
a scary thought
The high school in Brooklyn Sha‘arey Torah uses that as their cheer/chant at basketball games.
olé, olé olé olé, shaaré, shaaré...
In OJ, the chant was, o-jaaay, o-j o-j o-jaaay, oh-jaaay, oh-jaaay.
are yopu presenting stoned and french as alternatives or synonyms?
At the present moment, I'll just say: O-yay, o-yay o-yay o-yay, o-yay, o-yay!
;)
