Hahahaha! That caused an audible giggle from Fudge! The whole thing is profoundly genius.

There must be some non-fiction inspiration to this. There's no way the PT came up with "historical fiction". prins wiliyim is modeled heavily on Sam from Where the Wild Things are. So, what's the nugget of truth other than snow in Wisconsin?
